ABOUT
As long as I can remember I have been sliding down snow with a smile on my face. As a child, it was those snowy hillsides and lush northwoods that instilled in me a deep connection and fascination with the natural world. It was that connection which led me to Bozeman, Montana to attend college after graduating High School. There I received a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Montana State University’s School of Film and Photography.

These days, I am fortunate enough to live and work in a place where mountains, rivers and trails are just minutes from my doorstep. When I’m not outside photographing or planning the next adventure I work as Photo Editor for Outside Bozeman Magazine. I am a feature writer and have my photography in print nationwide. I absolutely love what I do and can think of no better way to live my life.

Through the lens, I create images for editorial and commercial clients that connect with the viewer. With a unique approach and technical knowledge I have been able to document and deal with challenging situations in order to bring back the perfect image. My work focuses on the extraordinary circumstances that we find ourselves in while enjoying earth's many natural landscapes and it is through the unique relationship that we share with our surroundings that I am able to bring those landscapes to life.

The greatest thing about being a photographer for me is the unknown. Everyday is a new adventure. There is no way of knowing where the next road will go and what the next frame will capture. Whatever the subject, I will be there with a fresh perspective and an exceptional ability to bring out the best in it.
